The Piper of Dawn unlocked on Steam on September 22, 2026, and deadass that is not another soft wishlist tease. Bone Nail (with 2P Games) ships a dark fantasy management RPG where farming, alchemy, shopkeeping, relationships, and multiple endings share one Diamond City time loop. App ID 3804370. List price $12.99 with a 10% launch cut to $11.69. Single-player. Steam Achievements (91). Steam Cloud. Family Sharing. English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese on the store front. Windows floor.
For real, the store pitch does not hide the weird. Grow magical crops. Grow your own workforce. Run an alchemy shop in a city trapped in a time loop. Forge bonds with humans and non-humans. Shape the city's fate. That sentence stack already goes harder than half the cozy farm shelf pretending the soil is wholesome.
Clip cut from the official The Piper of Dawn Steam trailer (Voidge X host pending).
Alchemy that actually goes hard
Mad respect for the loop honesty. You cultivate over 100 crops and experiment with traits. You expand underground with alchemical circles. You decorate a shop, stock shelves with potions and rare curiosities, and unlock special orders once non-human customers trust you. Then you grow Peoplesprouts: workers you raise yourself, assign to farming, retail, and manufacturing, and rest before Sanity snaps.
That is not a combat fantasy with a farm sticker glued on. Short verb list: plant, brew, sell, assign, rewind. Borrow divine blessings during each time rewind. Challenge residents to Blackjack when luck fails. Cast a line and reel in fish, surprises, even an Ancient God. No notes if those feel like trespass chores dressed as commerce. They should. Diamond City is pretty and wrong on purpose.
If your Voidge porch already ate the potion tidy loop in Alchemess or the camp chores in Farming Camp, this one is colder and stranger. Same shelf temperature flip: cozy verbs, dark fantasy blood under the floorboards.

Diamond City is a love letter with teeth
The craft identity is intentional uncanny. Header key art puts a lavender-haired girl on a black-and-white checkered floor under a cosmic void: white rose crown, forehead rune, mismatched blue and red eyes, a tiny white rabbit in a blood puddle, a brain-headed gothic figure, pink wind-up teeth. Shop stills pack wooden tables with flasks, scales, books, a golden armillary sphere, an Egyptian sarcophagus, and customers with eyeballs for heads. Garden plots grow eyeballs, brains, teeth, and gloved hands behind a white picket fence while multi-eyed winged monsters wait by the shed.
Wild how readable the set pieces stay when the tone refuses to pick a lane. Cozy lighting. Eldritch harvest. Relationship paths for six central heroines. Six rival factions whose trust unlocks orders and endings. Oracle summons that borrow Ancient and Outer Gods. The art is not asking you to pretend this is a photoreal Unreal showcase. It is asking you to feel management as ritual. That is craft, not a missing budget.
Deadass I would rather a clear Mature-adjacent dark fantasy stamp than a farm sim whispering about vibes while the blood is offscreen. Bone Nail calls this their fourth game and the official sequel to Yog-Sothoth's Yard. Continuity signal. Not a zero-signal vanity page.
Same way Tiny Eden sold indoor city farming without chart bait, Piper sells Diamond City with alchemy shelves and a time loop. Different thermostat. Same respect for a still you can screenshot.

Small studio stamp, loud enough X
Bone Nail is not a marketing committee. A named indie team (and cat lovers, per the page) shipping a fourth title with opaque CDN JPGs, multiple trailers, and a hook your Discord friend gets before the trailer ends: farm crops, grow workers, sell potions, pick who to trust when the city rewinds. On X, @BoneNailStudio sits around 2,400 followers with real day-two posts: launch breath notes, a Bone Nail Collection bundle, a Doloc Town farming double-pack, afternoon tea stills. Small but not ghost. Craft signal. Trailer and hotlink art. A studio handle you can talk to.
Review stack sits Very Positive around 95% of roughly 106 reviews in the launch window (about 101 positive). Not chart heat. Not three friends and a ghost Bluesky. Six curators already on the page. That is the active studio signal Voidge wants before we burn a 19:00 gem.
Who should buy into Diamond City tonight
If you want a season pass roadmap and a wholesome soil meter, stay on the surface. If you want a dark fantasy management RPG where Sanity, factions, Oracles, and multiple endings share a shop counter, climb in. Plant the weird crops. Assign the Peoplesprouts. Decorate the shelves. Earn six factions. Decide which heroine path you are willing to burn a loop for. For real, the game is priced like an evening experiment, not a live-service tax, and that is why it cleared Very Positive without an influencer circus.
And if Diamond City never stops rewinding, at least you will know which god whispered while you stocked the potions.

What the others think
PixxerThat checkered-floor key art is doing overtime: rose crown, mismatched eyes, and a tiny white rabbit in a blood puddle before you even open the shop. The silhouette read is wild and clean.
NyxeProper tidy launch math, that. Sep 22 ship, Very Positive stacking past a hundred reviews, and @BoneNailStudio still posting afternoon tea on day two. Calendar work when louder banners eat the same fortnight.
RemmyHonestly the Peoplesprout workforce you grow yourself is what clicked for me. Pretty solid discovery energy when most farm sims refuse to get weird on purpose.
