Dude, Trash Day is the raccoon co-op game I want in every late lobby. It is a physics-based co-op adventure for up to 6 players: you and your crew break out of Animal Control, steal a wagon, fill it with the finest trash, and haul it across six areas toward Raccoon Paradise. It launched on Steam on October 13, 2026 from Off By One Games, a small team with over a decade of Rocket League work together. App ID 3314580. List price $7.99, introductory offer 10% off at $7.19 until October 27. Windows. Online co-op, Steam Achievements, DualSense support, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing.
For real the pitch is hella simple and the execution is clutch. Push and steer the wagon with up to five friends. Lose a wheel, put it back on. Flip it, flip it back. Bungee cords, planks, traffic, bear traps, rockslides, a river. Knock over trash cans, search dumpsters, wear a hat, stack your friends, launch one off a seesaw. Good plan. Terrible execution. That is the vibe.

What is Trash Day?
Trash Day is a 6 player co-op physics game where you play as raccoons on a trash run. Steam players tag it Multiplayer, Co-op, Funny, Online Co-Op, Adventure, Physics, Action, 3D, Exploration, Comedy, Third Person, Controller, Inventory Management, Character Customization, Animals. That stack reads right for a friendslop night.
The loop is tight on purpose:
- Break out, steal a wagon, load the best trash you can find
- Push, steer, and clear the path with up to five friends
- Restick wheels, unflip the cart, distract animals on their turf
- Use bungee cords, planks, and junk tools to get over, under, and through hazards
- Climb, scurry, scamper, wear a hat, stack friends, play pattycake, eat some junk
You can solo it. The store is honest though: the wagon is a lot for one raccoon. Mid energy alone. Fire with a full squad.
Is Trash Day on Steam?
Yes. The trash day steam page is live and the game launched fully on October 13, 2026 for Windows. Steam lists Single-player, Multi-player, Co-op, Online Co-op, Steam Achievements, DualSense Controller Support, Partial Controller Support, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. Languages include English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and more. Minimum specs sit at Windows 10 64-bit, a 4-core CPU, 8 GB RAM, a GTX 1650 / RX 570 class GPU, DirectX 11, broadband, and storage space for the install.
The Next Fest June demo was only one area. The full game adds five more, new obstacles, and a full soundtrack. If your lobby already liked the co-op haul energy in Carry the Count or the squad chaos in Orbitals, Trash Day keeps the shared-object physics and turns it into a trash heist.
How does the stolen cart work in Trash Day?
The cart is the whole meta. You push it, steer it, restick wheels, flip it back when physics goes wild, and stuff it with valuable trash plus helpful items. Tethers and tools let one raccoon yank while another clears rocks or traffic. Lose focus and the haul spills. Stay clutch and the wagon becomes a rolling meme with a green flag antenna and a BANDIT plate energy.
That is the trash day raccoon game fantasy: not a clean sim, a loud co-op toy where every friend is another opinion on a terrible plan.
Forest clearing: wagon, raccoon, red panda
One screenshot sells the tone. A red wooden slat wagon sits in a bright forest clearing. A dark raccoon pushes from behind. A red panda walks through orange flowers with a plunger in its mouth. Green grass, evergreen trees, a fallen log, blue sky. Soft stylized 3D, readable silhouettes, zero menace. Cute chaos.

Canyon waterfall: cart mid-air
Zoom out to a canyon and the physics go full send. A red four-wheeled wooden cart tumbles over a waterfall with broom and fish debris flying. Three raccoons watch from the plateau above, one in a red hat, one tan, one with a tiny crown. Curtain waterfalls on tan rock, a wooden plank bridge to the side. That is the 6 player co-op physics game money shot: the plan looked fine until gravity voted.

If you want another raccoon-coded indie with a different verb, Sous Raccoon swaps the haul for a cooking roguelite loop.
What the trailer shows
Our clip keeps three beats of pure play from the official Launch Trailer. First, a raccoon crew with a flamingo prop and the red cart rolling toward a waterfall canyon. Second, the cart splashing and tumbling through waterfall spray with a cone-hat raccoon riding the junk pile. Third, the squad towing the wagon past an excavator and onto a raft run. No menus. No logo card. No big trailer text overlays.
Is Trash Day worth it?
At $7.19 (list $7.99, 10% intro offer until October 27) for a full launch raccoon co-op game with online co-op for up to six, my verdict is yes if your friends like physics toys and loud plans. Here is the honest scoreboard as of about 19:00 BRT on October 14. Steam's review score reads Very Positive. The review API counts 165 positive out of 170 across all languages (5 negatives in that snapshot). Recommendations on the store sit around 147.
Know what you are buying. It is a physics comedy co-op, not a deep campaign sim. Solo is supported but the wagon wants a crew. No content descriptors on the store, no Horror tag, and no AI generated content disclosure on the store page we checked.
Who should skip it: anyone hunting a quiet single-player narrative, Mac/Linux day one, or a competitive ranked ladder. This one wants unchecked opinions and one terrible plan.
Studio check and Rocket League DNA
@Ox1Games is the studio account for Off By One Games, about 266 followers, and it is active around launch: the October 13 "Today is Trash Day!" post, date announcement, Next Fest demo posts, and raccoon bit bits like Raccoon Sign Language. The bio is blunt: former Rocket League devs making Trash Day. Small studio, real voice, San Diego and Flagstaff on the profile, and a store page written by people who clearly played too much physics chaos at work.
Who should join the trash run
- Lobby squads who want a 6 player co-op physics game with a shared object and constant recovery moments
- Friendslop fans who want comedy tools, hats, stacking, and a stolen cart as the main character
- Rocket League alumni curious what that team builds when the ball becomes a wagon full of junk
Trash Day is out now on Steam for Windows. Steal the cart. Load the trash. Do not flip it. Or do. GG.

What the others think
PixxerLowkey the capsule key art is doing overtime: four raccoons, one cart, flying junk, and that plunger silhouette reads in a second. The little trash can lid and phone cord details slap harder than the trailer text cards.
JunnoDeadass a physics co-op where the win condition is hauling trash to Raccoon Paradise is mad funny. Flipping the wagon, resticking the wheel, launching a friend off a seesaw. No notes on the chaos.
NyxeReckon a Very Positive day-two score and an intro price through October 27 is proper tidy for a Next Fest demo favorite. Ex-Rocket League team, small studio, calendar doing the selling.
